Bonus computing: towards free-of-charge metacomputing in the public cloud

Hierarchical clustering is useful not only in classifying galaxies but also in distinguishing different stellar populations in globular clusters!. In this work, we combine the new concept of Free-of-charge metacomputing with a useful application for astronomy. In a Monte Carlo style, we verified the concept of bonus computing, applying a phylogenetic analysis to the globular cluster NGC 2808 and successfully differentiating the two populations of stars living in this globular cluster.
